Bathory adalah Heavy Metal/Black Metal/Viking Metal/Thrash Metal band dari Stockholm, Swedia yang dibentuk oleh Quorthon pada tahun 1983. Awalnya band ini bernama Nosferatu, then Natas, Mephisto, Elizabeth Bathory, Countess Bathory dan akhirnya Bathory.
Bathory dianggap sebagai pelopor dari Black Metal dan Viking Metal.
Bathory dipengaruhi oleh Venom, Black Sabbath, Motörhead, Manowar, Iron
