Lamb of God adalah Groove Metal band dari Richmond, Virginia yang dibentuk pada tahun 1994 dengan nama Burn the Priest. Berubah menjadi Lamb of God setelah mereka merilis debut album Burn the Priest (1999).

Lamb of God dianggap sebagai pemimpin New Wave of American Heavy Metal.

Bullet for My Valentine adalah Metalcore band dari Bridgend, Wales yang dibentuk pada tahun 1998. Mereka dibentuk di bawah nama Jeff Killed John dan memulai karir musik mereka dengan memainkan lagu-lagu Metallica dan Nirvana.
